Labmatica has developed a Free LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System). With Free LIMS you can: manage samples; create sample types from methods & parameters; easily generate reports & certificates; fine tune user rights. Ready made reports and certificates are included in the distribution. You can easily configure these report templates to your corporate identity.

Further, if you need support, LabLynx provides on-demand support on an hourly fee basis, to help you get the most out of Free LIMS. We recognize that Free LIMS is not for everyone but it does handle the needs of small, in-house laboratories that support manufacturing/QC who are operating on a tight budget. The product is simple and no fuss. It is highly unlikely that you will need support but when you do, you know that there is an experienced LIMS company that can provide you with support. If you need help, contact LabLynx at: sales@lablynx.com.

Optionally, if you do not want to pay for support you can get support through email direct from Labmatica at:

  1. I downloaded the free lims, unzipped the files. How do I run the software? Mike

  2. Mike,

For free support on this product and to get it compiled and installed, the developer is the best bet. The developer is Thomas Maersch

    • The LIMS at work GmbH, Bonn, Germany took over the labmatica 2 years ago. It is for commercial users not a free system any more but still a low cost lims. In the beginning of 2012 we will provide the new version 2.0 which is full web based. Ask for additional service and support.
